CONSONATS
A consonant is a sound in spoken language that is characterized by a constriction or closure at one or more points along the vocal tract, such as the lips, tongue and teeth. The word "consonant" also refers to each letter that denotes this type of sound. Also, Consonants produce sounds that are more consistent and easier to identify than vowels. They make a good starting point for learning to read. In addition, consonants can be voiced or unvoiced. The presence or absence of voicing, consonants can be described in terms of the matter and place of articulation.
